Neighborly Kayaker Helps Out Storm Chaser as She Paddles Down Flooded Street

A storm chaser and his friends were worried for their fellow motorists on a flooded street in Kansas recently, before coming across someone who would definitely not have any problems - a woman paddling along in her kayak. Jeffrey Wenger told Storyful he was chasing storms on June 4, when he encountered some flash flooding in Marion. In his video, he and his friends can be heard discussing how to best navigate the situation, and worrying that a car ahead might get swamped and stall. It's then the woman paddles near, with Wenger telling her he accidentally knocked over a few plants in front of a house.
