Bangladesh Commuters Suffer Water-Logging

Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh, is faced with a rising urban population and is unable to cope with changing situations due to internal resource constraints and management limitations. In the wake of recent rainfall, many areas across the capital have seen inundation, with stagnant water taking a toll on daily life. Blocked streets and roads are a common sight during the monsoon months of May to October.
