Grand Slam winning captain, Brian O'Driscoll of Ireland was announced today as the official RBS Player of the Championship for the 2009 RBS 6 Nations. Over 24,000 fans posted votes, an increase of over 25% from 2008, in which O'Driscoll garnered nearly 30% of all the votes cast. Sergio Parisse was ranked in close second and Paul O'Connell finishing third.
