Aquarius Ship Arrives at Valencia Port

The Aquarius rescue ship is arriving today at the port of Valencia amid two Italian navy vessels. They are carrying 630 migrants who were rescued from the Mediterranean Sea near Malta and Italy by the ship's crew of Aquarius one week ago. The new Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez offered Valencia for safe disembarking, after Italian far-right Interior minister Matteo Salvini blocked the Aquarius from docking at all Italian ports.
