Prince of Wales love letters

A photo of the Prince of Wales dated May 1920, surrounded by some of the 260 love letters that the young Prince wrote to his sweetheart Freda Dudley-Ward. The letters were written before the future King Edward VIII, met and gave up the throne for American divorcee Wallis Simpson. *The Prince met Mrs Dudley-ward in 1918, and continued their affair for 15 years until 1934.
