POLAND-FRANCE-MACKIEWICZ-CLIMBING-PAKISTAN
Picture taken on May 20, 2016 in Warsaw shows Polish mountaineer Tomasz Mackiewicz, whom France's Elisabeth Revol was forced to leave behind weak and bleeding on Himalayan Nanga Parbat peak in Pakistan , nicknamed "killer mountain", to save her own life, had made a name for himself as a free spirit.
Revol was facing death on Nanga Parbat when Polish elite climbers Adam Bielecki and Denis Urubko scaled part of the 8,125-metre (26,660-foot) mountain in darkness in January 2018 to rescue her. / AFP PHOTO / Dzien Dobry TVN / Tomasz URBANEK / Poland OUT / EASTNEWS OUT
