This year the Planeta Prize has increased its prize money to one million euros, and to 200,000 euros for the finalist. With this increase, which coincides with the 70th edition of the award and which will be applied, the Planeta is now on a par with the Nobel Prize for Literature, which is worth 10 million Swedish crowns, approximately one million euros.
