NBA: Greg Oden Sits Out Season

Sep 14, 2007 - Indianapolis, IN, USA - 7-foot Basketball center GREG ODEN, the No. 1 June draft pick, is out of the season and will not play for the Portland Trail Blazers this year because of microfracture knee surgery performed yesterday. Oden averaged 15.7 points and 9.6 rebounds last season as a freshman. He led the Buckeye's to the national championship game and had 25 points and 12 rebounds in the loss to Florida.
