Massive Protest by United Nations

(Original Caption) These are some of the estimated 100,000 persons who gathered at Hammarskjold Plaza in front of the United Nations April 15th during the fourth annual parade-rally held under the auspices of the Greater New York Conference on Soviet Jewry. Speakers called for the Soviet Union to grant Jews the "basic rights" to emigrate to Israel and to practice their Judaism.
