FRANCE-GERMANY-WWII-HISTORY-CAMP
This picture taken on April 16, 2015 shows a gallows at the only Nazi death camp on French soil, the WWII Struthof concentration camp, in Natzwiller, eastern France. French president Francois Hollande will take part in the commemoration of the deportees national day, on April 26, 2015. Some 22,000 men and women perished at the Struthof death camp between May 1941 and November 1944, when it was liberated by US forces. Most of the victims were members of the resistance and political deportees. AFP PHOTO / PATRICK HERTZOG (Photo credit should read PATRICK HERTZOG/AFP via Getty Images)
