Mourners pay respects at Giorgio Armani’s funeral chapel in Milan

MILAN, ITALY - SEP. 6, 2025: Hundreds of people queued in Milan on Saturday, Sep. 6, to pay their respects at the funeral chapel of Giorgio Armani, the Italian fashion designer who died this week.Visitors included fashion figures such as Donatella Versace, business leader John Elkann, Milan’s mayor Giuseppe Sala, Italian Fashion Chamber president Carlo Capasa, and Olimpia Milano basketball coach Ettore Messina. Oscar-winning directors Gabriele Salvatores and Giuseppe Tornatore also attended.The chapel will remain open until 6 p.m. on Sunday.
