Space: Interview NASA astronaut from London; ENGLAND: London / USA; HoustonINTLIVE 2-way interviewStewart Q: when you were a schoolboy did you dream of being a spaceman?Dr Nicholas Patrick (London's NASA astronaut) interview SOT- not then / I first thought about it when I was five / while I was at Harrow I was thinking of other things, I was very interested in science and physics Sylvester Q: have you got message for schoolboys?Dr Nicholas Patrick SOT- I have message for all boys at Harrow - study hard, particularly science and mathematics / the sky's the limit, or perhaps beyondStewart Q: what's your job on the mission?Dr Nicholas Patrick SOT- we have two jobs, first is to inspect the shuttle's thermal protection system, the tiles and leading edges of the wings to make sure there's been no damage during ascent, during launch / second job is to pull out segment of space station, the P5 truss, pull it out of payload bay and hand it to space station's robotic arm so they can install it on the end of the existing trussSylvester Q: are you nervous?Dr Nicholas Patrick SOT- no time to be nervous / so much training to do, we have full schedule and so many things to arrange after hours, helping my family prepare for weeks I'll be gone, isn't time to worry / we do train for lot of contingencies so if you stopped to think might get bit nervous but isn't time to worry about itStewart Q: is it still thrill for you?Dr Nicholas Patrick SOT- absolutely, thrill and privilege / don't know what it's like yet, look forward to telling you when I get back / my expectations are high, expect it will be huge thrill / we'll be so busy doing our jobs won't have as much time as we'd like to look out window and experience weightlessness, which is what space tourists primarily get to doSylvester Q: will you have time to take family pictures?Dr Nicholas Patrick SOT- that's one of my extra jobs on mission, I'm in charge of photo a...
