Kyoto temples, shrines, given snowy mantle after snowstorm
Kyoto’s famed sites Kiyomizudera temple, Heianjingu shrine and Kinkakuji temple are seen from the air on Dec. 17 after a storm brushed the city white with about a centimeter of snow. The video footage was taken by Nobutake Takahashi of The Asahi Shimbun.
