There is no room for Islamophobia, racism in future, says Turkish foreign minister
NEW YORK, US - SEP. 23: There is no room for Islamophobia or racism in the future, said the Turkish Foreign Minsiter Hakan Fidan in New York, US on Saturday (Sep. 23).
Fidan’s remarks came after the 78th UN General Assembly where he held discussions with representatives and counterparts from different countries.
Holding press conference in Turkevi in New York, Fidan said “The resolutions on condemning attacks on holy books, adopted by the UN and G20, and Sweden and Denmark's decision to change legislation, have shown that the Islamic world can achieve results when they act together.”
“We will continue on our way considering this that there is no room for Islamophobia or racism in the future,” he added. (Footage by Lokman Vural Elibol /Anadolu Agency via Getty Images)
