(GERMANY OUT) SDN, Sudan, 2000: John Eibner of the Swiss Civil Rights organization CSI (Christian Solidarity International) first visited this region in 1995 to buy free so called Dinka slaves who were abducted an enslaved in the North of Sudan. According to CSI, Arab slavers are paid to free the slaves in the North. CSI claims that in 1999, 20.000 slaves were returned to their homeland after being bought free.
