JUL 6 1959, JUL 7 1959 Opera Star, Protege Head for Estes Opera star James Melton and his protege, Barbara Meister of Pueblo, try out a 1918 Pierce-Arrow for the annual motorcade of ancient autos which left Denver for Estes Park Tuesday. Arthur Rippey, Denver collector of oldtime cars, loaned the Pierce-Arrow to Melton, a vintage automobile collector himself, for the trip.
