Protesters Demand Government Resignation After Coverup Of Systemic Child Abuse

There are currently seven identified suspects and the prosecutor's office has requested the arrest of a female teacher on December 12, 2025. A previous child abuse scandal discovered in February 2024 shook Hungarian political life to its core and led to the resignation of several high-ranking officials when it emerged that President Katalin Novak had granted a pardon to the former deputy director of the Bicske children's home where abuses had taken place.
