Samantha said of the engagement "I’ve never been married before and I had always dreamed that one day someone I loved would get down on one knee and propose to me. On Valentines Day this year, I arranged a romantic dinner and a suite for the night at The Grove in Hertfordshire. The setting was truly romantic with candlelight, champagne, flowers, giftboxes and balloons with 'I love you’ written on them! After a couple of hours it was time to open our presents. It was then when Linda proposed to me. She got down on one knee, opened a black box with a light shining on a beautiful diamond ring and said 'Sammy, would you marry me?’. I couldn't believe it, and I said yes without hesitation and tears in my eyes.
