Face recognition pilot project

Several cameras are filming people in three areas of the interchange station since 01 August. The footage is being compared by computers with the faces of test people who regularly use the station. The Ministry of the Interior and the Federal Police aim to find out whether computers can reliably recognise faces under realistic conditions.
