Courtship display - HD 影片檔

In the heat of the afternoon, a male Western Grey kangaroo (Macropus fuliginosus) stands beneath a gum tree, gathering dry leaves with his forepaws. Common across southern Australia, the Western Grey kangaroo is a familiar sight - but this one sets himself apart. With quick, deliberate strokes, he brushes the leaves across his broad chest, the muscles beneath his grey-brown fur rippling with each movement. Nearby, a group of females grazes, their ears flicking in his direction. His strong body stands against the bush, a silent proclamation of strength, as he waits to see if his display will catch their attention.
