Northern Ireland: devolution crisis talks; David Ford (Leader Alliance Party) statement to press SOT - well its clearly been a long night/ we have just had a meeting with the Secretary of State/ we're now going home for a but of break but we will be back here/ it seems to me the Prime Minister is still engaged in seeking a resolution the PM will be here for a period/ he does have International responsibilities/ I dont think PM would still be here if there wasn't a chance of something emerging/ we have been speaking with all the other parties/ I dont think at 3 or 4 oclock there is an air of confidence about anyone/ I cant at this stage remember how long ago it was/ we've had subsequent meetings since/ Sinn Fein are still engaged in negotiations/ seems to me the Ulster Unionist party has been playing down the prospects/ a lot of work to do if a deal is to be achieved/ others are working confidently to do the best they canUnidentified group leaving Hillsborough Castle
