適度地熟練使用工具的風信子金剛鸚鵡 - HD 影片檔
Two Hyacinth Macaws (Anodorhynchus hyacinthinus) on a moriche palm tree with one attempting to open a palm seed with the assistance of a piece of palm frond. The seed is exceeding hard and only the soft inner kernel has food value. The massive bill of these macaws is apparently adapted to deal with this food source, but it is still a tedious process. This videographer is apparently the first to notice and document the use of a tool to aide in the opening of the seed.
