Multiple lightning strikes from a single thunderstorm cell. This montage of clips covers a period of around five minutes, and shows the randomness of cloud-to-ground strikes. The location of a strike in a storm can be five or more kilometres from the previous strike, making it hard to time the approach of a cell. Filmed in Colorado, USA, in summer.
