John Russell Reeves (1774–1856) came across them when he lived in China and sent specimens back to England.Muntjac are a non-native species and adults have no natural predators. As a result, their populations can grow very large with a potentially negative impact on the environment.More information is available form the Woodland Trust Charity here in the UK.https://www.woodlandtrust.org.ukCaptured with a motion sensor camera.
