Broken ship pulled to safety in Türkiye’s Canakkale Strait
CANAKKALE, TÜRKİYE - MAY 23: The Comoros Islands flagged ship, whose engines failed in Canakkale Strait of Türkiye, was pulled to safety on Thursday (May 23).The engines of the 241-meter-long ship Hera 1, which was sailing from Russia to India, malfunctioned at the Zincirbozan location during the strait passage.Upon the ship captain's radio notification tugs of the Directorate General of Coastal Safety of Türkiye were dispatched to the region and the ship was taken to the Sevketiye anchorage.
