RAPHAEL INTRODUCED TO LEONARDO DA VINCI 插畫檔

This is a famous 19th-century engraving (based on a painting by Cesare Maccari from 1864), titled "Raphael Introduced to Leonardo da Vinci" (sometimes called "Raphael Visiting Leonardo in His Studio"). The scene is a romanticized, imaginary moment set around 1504–1506 in Florence, depicting the young Raphael (Raffaello Sanzio, then about 21–23 years old) being presented to the much older and already legendary Leonardo da Vinci (then in his early 50s).►Vintage etching circa late 19 th Century.
