(Original Caption) 6/20/1944-English Channel: On the bridge ofthe HMS "Arthusa", King George (Center) discusses the progress of the invasion with Sir Allen Lasoelles (Left) and Major General Layoock, Chief of Combined Operations, Accompanied by Admiral Sir Bertham Ramsey and Admiral Sir Andrew Cunningham, the King traved to the French Beachhead, where he visited the British Headquarters and conferred decorations on the Royal Navy and Army Officers in the field.
