Woman Fainting at Hearing

(Original Caption) "Living Death Victim" Faints at Hearing. Mrs. Catherine Wolf Donahue asserted radium poisoning victim, being carried from an Illinois Industrial Commission hearing in her home town, Ottawa, Illinois after fainting on hearing a Doctor testify that she was doomed to die of the poison that entered her system when she worked for the Radium Dial Company of Ottawa from 1922 to 1931. The company moved from Illinois to New York in 1937 after posting a $10,000 bond and Mrs. Donahue is claiming part of the bond. Fifteen other women claim to be suffering from poisoning contracted at the same factory, and Mrs. Donahue's suit is considered a test case for all of them.
