Government Highlights That The Spanish Economy Has Been Creating Jobs For 17,520 Days
MADRID, SPAIN - MAY 07: The Minister of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, Oscar Puente, after a press conference following the meeting of the Council of Ministers, on May 7, 2024, in Madrid, Spain. Pilar Alegria today highlighted the "strength" of the Spanish economy, which has now been creating jobs for 48 consecutive months or, in other words, 17,520 days. The Minister recalled that the Social Security affiliation data published yesterday by the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration showed more than 21 million people employed at the end of April, a new record for the system. Spain is the fourth country with the most power to attract foreign investment and recalled some of the investments announced by non-national companies, such as Microsoft, Ryanair or IAG.
