Los Angeles, California, USA - August 24, 2013: Metallic abstract formed by the intersecting exterior walls of The Walt Disney Concert Hall, Los Angeles, California. The Frank Gehry designed building opened on October 23, 2003, and is home to the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra and the Los Angeles Master Chorale. Disney's wife fermented the idea for the building in 1987. Gehry's concept evolves around a sailboat hull with open canvas. The exterior is constructed of more than 12,000 steel panels, no two of which are exactly alike. The walls and rooflines connect and converge in jagged architectural beauty.
