Tin mining 照片檔

A panorama of a reservoir constructed as a water supply for alluvial mining of tin found in gravels in local riverbeds and river banks. The supply of alluvial tin has been exhausted and the reservoir now hosts recreational activities such as bird watching and kayaking. A prominent batholith of granite known as the Cannibal Creek Granite forms a stunning rocky backdrop to this panorama in Cape York, Australia.
